MALE's (Ireland) was founded in 2004 to help men reawaken to their own masculinity, to their deep spirituality and to discover what it means to be a man today.

It was founded in response to Fr. Richard Rohr's OFM vision for men that he developed through his work with men since 1987. He maintains that

"none of our current social or social issues are going to change until the ordinary male matures spiritually".

At our meetings, men are

helped to a new consciousness of themselves, of their gftedness to others and of their responsibilives to family and the community.

They are helped and supported when one is confronted by suffering, loss, death, failure and changes in cultures

They are empowered to iive with genuine wisdom and vision out of a belief that they are loved for who they truly are.
